We continue sharing our experience integrating air conditioners into smart home systems. Sometimes AC units turn out to be different from what you expect. On one project, we encountered a Samsung model that refused to work with adapters for this brand and didn’t even have the proper connections.
However, upon closer inspection, we noticed connectors X Y E on the board that looked suspiciously like those used in Midea AC units. We tried connecting the appropriate adapter—and it worked!
That’s how it sometimes goes, even with big-name brands—you think you’re dealing with one, but in fact, it’s another. And we are always happy to help our partners with technical solutions.
