Despite our preference for wired solutions for reliability and long-term performance, sometimes it is necessary to connect functions that do not assume wired connections. A typical example is locks. It so happens that the vast majority of smart locks available on the market are wireless.
This makes them easier to install, and batteries don’t need to be recharged too often. Below are two solutions we recommend for installations with Larnitech.
First solution – Tedee locks. This is a European product available to our dealers. The advantage is that they are approved for Dubai Holiday Homes. In addition to their own app, which can work via Bluetooth or the internet (if a Wi-Fi hub is used), they also have a keypad for code or fingerprint access.
Second solution – RUNN locks. These are part of our wireless line. We use them in our office, so if you’ve visited us, you’ve probably seen one. Again, all settings are available through the lock hub’s native app, allowing user management with codes and fingerprints.
Both lock types connect to the wired control system via adapters that integrate with Larnitech. In the app, they appear as a lock, and the client can use them to open doors.
